Story Time at the Wauwatosa Public Library is a charming event designed to nurture early literacy and motor skills in young children. Through engaging stories, songs, and activities, kids aged 3-6 can explore and learn in a supportive environment. The program encourages independence, but families are welcome to join in the fun.
This event is thoughtfully crafted to be developmentally appropriate, making it a perfect outing for your little ones. With no registration required, it's easy to drop by and let your child dive into a world of stories and creativity. The library's welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot for both learning and play.
Story Time promotes early literacy development through interactive stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement. Children will practice gross and fine motor skills, as well as independence; your 3-6-year-old is encouraged to attend on their own if this suits their growing independence and your comfort, but adults (and younger/older siblings) are welcome to join and participate as well. This program fosters exploration and discovery, and may include art, STEM, and mindful movement.
