From the organizer
Steam Powered Giraffe is a musical project from San Diego, California. The act is celebrating 18 years in 2026 and features a cast and crew filled with music and theatrical backgrounds. The group takes on the guise of a robot band helmed by three singing antique automatons and supported by the workers from the fictional robotics company that made them. This quirky act combines comedic sketches, improvised banter, and most importantly original music fused with four-part harmony, toe-tapping melodies, and robot pantomime. More than just a band, Steam Powered Giraffe is an experience that must be seen and heard by the entire family!
