From the organizer
The Spring Bird Count is held each May by the Benjamin F. Goss Bird Club, which corresponds to counting spring migration of owls, waterfowls, shorebirds, songbirds, warblers, and other spring birds migrating from the south.

Who'll Be There
Expect a mix of local birdwatchers, families with children, retirees, and community members interested in nature and conservation. The crowd will likely be diverse in age but skew towards those with a keen interest in wildlife.
Part II · The feel
The details organizers don't always put in the description — pulled from the room, the crowd, and what people remember afterward.
Library rules. Whispers and a calm body — this is not a talking-out-loud room.
