About this event

The Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic is back, bringing a full day of high-speed excitement to the streets of Shorewood. As part of the Tour of America’s Dairyland, this event attracts cyclists from all over, ranging from amateurs to seasoned pros. The day is packed with races, including a special kids' race and the Dairyland Mile running race, ensuring there's something for everyone.

Families will love the community atmosphere, with activities like face painting and decorating for the kids. The streets will be buzzing with energy, and local businesses get in on the action, making it a true community celebration. Whether you're a cycling fan or just looking for a fun day out, this event is a highlight of the summer.

Shorewood will return to playing host for a day to the largest cycling event in the country, the 22nd Annual Shorewood Criterium Classic on Friday, June 26th, 2026! The Tour of America’s Dairyland features 11 days of competitive racing around Wisconsin and brings in riders from amateurs to professionals. This year our route has shifted, but that won’t stop the excitement and events throughout the day!

Pro tips

  • Driving / parking

    Parking is restricted on several blocks including Morris, Bartlett, and Newhall. If you need in/out access, park outside the permit area or use the vehicle access at Glendale & Larkin between races.

  • Parents

    For the kids races, head to the BLUE North Shore Bank tents by 5:30pm to sign waivers. Free frozen custard from Culvers is a post-race treat for the kids!
