Hormones in Peri & Postmenopausal: What Every Woman Should Know This presentation will explore the role of hormones during the perimenopausal and postmenopausal phases; focusing on their impact on women's health. It will cover the physiological changes that occur as estrogen; progesterone; and other key hormones fluctuate and eventually decline during these stages. The presentation will highlight common symptoms of hormonal shifts; such as hot flashes; mood swings; and sleep disturbances; and their effects on overall well-being. The session will also into treatment options available to manage these symptoms; including hormone replacement therapy (HRT); lifestyle changes; and alternative therapies. Additionally; the long-term health implications of hormonal changes; such as increased risks for osteoporosis; cardiovascular disease; and cognitive decline; will be discussed.
