Here with their first self-titled and self-released LP, Purity Ring steps fully into a dream they've been circling for years—one that feels vast, unrestrained, and true to who they’ve become. Since emerging in the early 2010s, James and Roddick have made a lasting impact on the electronic pop landscape, building a world all their own with immersive self-produced albums and groundbreaking visual live show experiences. Their debut Shrines (2012) earned Pitchfork’s Best New Music Honors and was shortlisted for the Polaris Prize, and breakout track “Fineshrine” is RIAA Gold-certified in the U.S. Over the years, they’ve collaborated with artists including Danny Brown, Deftones and Black Dresses.
