Poetry in the Park is a cherished summer tradition, bringing together poetry lovers for an evening of spoken word in the serene setting of Juneau Park. This event features a diverse lineup of local poets, each bringing their unique voice and style to the stage. It's a relaxed, community-focused gathering where you can unwind and soak in the creative energy.
The event takes place near the Solomon Juneau statue, providing a picturesque backdrop for the readings. With the support of Juneau Park Friends, this series runs monthly throughout the summer, offering a perfect opportunity to enjoy Milwaukee's outdoor spaces while engaging with the local arts scene. Bring your own seating and snacks for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Arrive by 6:15 pm to get a good spot near the Solomon Juneau statue. The best views and acoustics are from the left side facing the statue.
