About this event

Join a four-week Pilates journey at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, where you'll explore the foundational exercises of Joe Pilates. Led by Jaime Hayden, owner of Flying Squirrel Pilates, this series is designed to challenge your core and enhance your flexibility. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the class welcomes all skill levels.

Set in the tranquil indoor environment of Schlitz Audubon, this series provides a perfect escape to focus on wellness. Remember to bring your own mat and water, and dress comfortably to make the most of this rejuvenating experience.

From the organizer

Throughout this four-week Pilates series, we will explore Joe Pilates’ original mat exercises. Led by Flying Squirrel Pilates owner Jaime Hayden, she will take you through 50 minutes of flowing exercises on the mat, using your body weight as resistance. Every class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. All skill levels and bodies are welcome! This program will take place entirely indoors. Please bring a mat, water, and a towel if needed, and wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.
