From the organizer

On Friday, May 15, 2026, Milwaukee Recreation is celebrating its biannual Partnership for the Arts & Humanities Showcase, an event dedicated to the various forms of artwork created by Milwaukee youth in programs funded by the Partnership for the Arts & Humanities program. Milwaukee Recreation operates the Partnership for the Arts & Humanities, which is an allocation of $1.7 million approved annually by the Milwaukee Board of School Directors to support afterschool, weekend, and summer arts and humanities-related opportunities for children, youth, and families. This year's Showcase will feature the outstanding work of organizations funded during the 2025-27 program cycle. Attendees can meet over 30 partner organizations, view on-stage performances and films, peruse student work, and participate in hands-on activities and demonstrations. Event entry is free, and all are welcome to attend, including students, families, community members, and organizations. We cannot wait to see the Milwaukee community join us for this wonderful event!
