Minecraft is a Saturday club at Shorewood High School's Science Building; Room 133; taught through Shorewood's Recreation Department by Nick Burkee. Open to kids entering grades 1 through 6; so the age range is wide but the format is single-session and low-stakes. Two sections run across the summer between June 20 and August 1 (skipping July 4). Good entry point for kids who already play Minecraft and want a structured group setting; or for parents looking for a Saturday-morning option without committing to a full-week camp. MiSA's twice-weekly bachata sessions are low-stakes and well-taught — $20 suggested, no partner required, and instructors who calibrate to the room. Runs right before Salsa if you want to stack your evening.
MiSA's Friday line dance sessions are a solid way to start the evening without much commitment. No partner, no experience — Suav, Greye, and Brister keep it moving and teach actual choreography you can take home.
