3-morning pond camp for kids 4–6 at Lynden. Make art and launch floating sculptures. Aug 24–26.
Lynden's Pond Wonders morning camp takes kids 4–6 to the edge of the pond and into it. Over three August mornings (9am–noon), children explore the sounds, textures, and smells of a living pond habitat—the frogs, turtles, birds, and insects that call it home. Guided by Lynden educators, they record discoveries in their own pond journals and build a floating sculpture to test in the small pond. Messy, tactile, and entirely outdoors.

Exploring the pond is a sensory delight. Frogs, turtles, birds, insects, and plants provide a symphony of sounds, textures, and smells. We will get our hands wet exploring the pond habitat and the many critters that live in, and depend on, the pond to survive. We will record our observations in our pond journals and create a floating sculpture and launch it in the small pond.
