Meet Judy Campbell-Smith and Bernie Brewer at a morning baseball-themed book event for kids.
Part I
About this event
Judy Campbell-Smith brings her latest picture book, "Baseball for Breakfast," to the Wauwatosa Public Library. Set in Milwaukee during World War II, the story follows young Jimmy as he experiences the unique concept of morning baseball games. This event is a fantastic opportunity for families to engage with local history through storytelling.
The event promises more than just a reading. Bernie Brewer, the beloved mascot, will be there to entertain and take photos, making it an interactive experience for kids. It's a chance to dive into a historical tale while enjoying a lively morning at the library.

The details organizers don't always put in the description — pulled from the room, the crowd, and what people remember afterward.
Library rules. Whispers and a calm body — this is not a talking-out-loud room.
Designed for 3–6 people. Good group-of-friends territory.
