Part I
About this event
Greg Marshall, a three-time Emmy Award-winning storyteller, brings his one-person show 'Pops Out of the Trees' to Vivarium. This performance is a captivating mix of storytelling and music, directed by Dave Kang, that promises to engage and entertain. The narrative explores the stories we hear from unexpected people, making it both hilarious and moving.
The show is not just about entertainment; it's also dedicated to a good cause. Both performances on May 7 and May 8 support Stella's Playground, an initiative to build Milwaukee’s first universally accessible and inclusive playground. This adds a layer of purpose to an already intriguing evening.
With general admission seating, it's wise to arrive early to secure a good spot. Expect a night of poetic surprises, improv music, and freestyling that will leave you wanting more. It's a unique opportunity to see a master storyteller in action, with the added bonus of contributing to a community cause.
From the organizer
Greg Marshall is a three time Emmy Award winning storyteller and producer. His one person show, Greg Marshall Pops Out of the Trees is a true, hilarious and deeply moving story about a young man who learns that the greatest story isn't the one he tells, but the ones he hears from the most unexpected people. The show, directed by Dave Kang, is an entertaining blend of storytelling and music with poetic surprises (aka improv music and freestyling). It hooks you and leaves you wanting more.
