About this event

The Downtown Business Scarecrow Contest in Menomonee Falls is a charming fall tradition that invites the community to explore local creativity. Businesses throughout the downtown area craft unique scarecrows, each vying for the community's vote. It's a delightful way to experience the autumn season, with each display adding a touch of whimsy to the streets.

As you wander through the downtown area, you'll find scarecrows of all shapes and sizes, each reflecting the personality of the business that created it. This event not only showcases the artistic talents of local businesses but also encourages community interaction and engagement. Be sure to vote for your favorite and enjoy the festive lead-up to the Falls Harvest Fest.

From the organizer

Menomonee Falls Downtown is excited to bring back the Downtown Business Scarecrow Contest, running September 21 – October 2. Participating downtown businesses will create and display their own scarecrows outside their storefronts for the community to enjoy. Visitors are invited to explore Downtown, view the scarecrows, and cast their vote for their favorite. Voting will be open throughout the contest period, with the winning scarecrow announced at Falls Harvest Fest on October 3. Let this tradition add a festive and creative touch to your fall season.
