About this event

Curiosity Crew: Dino Dig is a delightful three-day camp designed for young children and their caregivers to explore the wonders of the prehistoric world. Hosted by The Little Village Play Cafe, this event combines tactile exploration with storytelling, allowing kids to dig for fossils, hatch dinosaur eggs, and practice their dino-roars. It's a unique opportunity for kids to engage in sensory play and develop essential skills in a fun and supportive environment.

The camp emphasizes creativity and learning through play, with each session guided by a storybook. Children will enjoy a mix of activities, including community circle time, sensory storytelling, and themed exploration stations. With a focus on fine motor skills, social interaction, and early literacy, this camp offers a rich educational experience wrapped in imaginative play. Caregivers are encouraged to participate, making it a shared adventure for both children and adults.

From the organizer

It's "Dino Dig!" week >> Stomp along to a prehistoric beat! Our tiny paleontologists will hunt for "fossils" in the sand, hatch fizzy dinosaur eggs, and practice their biggest dino-roars. This week is all about tactile exploration and learning the "rhythm" of a story through movement and touch.
