The Locust Street Beer Run is a quirky 1.6-mile dash through Riverwest with beer stops along the way. It's part of the larger Locust Street Festival, which features music stages, art vendors, and food trucks. Get there early for packet pickup and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Remember, you need to be 21 to partake in the beer!
For the kids' races, head to the registration area by 5:30pm at E. Belleview Pl. and Downer Avenue. Free chocolate chip cookies from Breadsmith await at the finish line!
Volunteering as a race marshal or corner guard gets you a free event t-shirt and a front-row view of the races. Sign up at the volunteer tent next to the grandstand.
