About this event

Lakefront Brewery is hosting a day dedicated to supporting Wisconsin State Parks. This event is more than just a fundraiser; it's a chance to engage with representatives from Friends of Wisconsin State Parks and learn about the importance of preserving these natural treasures. With every Parks Crowler purchased, $10 goes directly to the cause, and you get to enjoy any beer on tap.

The event features a special treat: Deep Fried S’mores Cheese Curds, available only on this day. Raffle tickets are included with entry and crowler purchases, offering a chance to win a commemorative pint glass. It's a community gathering with a purpose, blending good beer, unique snacks, and a worthy cause.

From the organizer

Lakefront Brewery supports our Wisconsin State Parks! We’re teaming up with Friends of Wisconsin State Parks, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of Wisconsin’s State Parks, raising funds and awareness to address the severe lack of funding in our state. In 2025, Wisconsin welcomed over 21 million visitors to our public lands and celebrated 125 years of our state parks system. Our state parks are essential to our identity as Wisconsinites, and the decline in state support is at odds with the value we place on outdoor recreation. Currently, Wisconsin will spend 39¢ per park visitor compared to the $3 average across the country, putting us in 50th place out of the 50 states. Without proper funding, public access to our beloved sites will start to diminish as parks will likely begin to close. On Saturday, May 2nd, we’re welcoming the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks to our Beer Hall from 5pm to 7pm as we launch our newest donation crowler in support of our public lands. Engage with the representatives, donate to the cause in person, and learn more about the ways we can all show our collective support. There will be raffles as well as a one-day-only special, Deep Fried S’mores Cheese Curds! Sweet chocolate fudge and beer battered curds breaded in graham cracker crumbs and drizzled with marshmallow cream. Raffle tickets can be obtained upon entry and with the purchase of each Parks Crowler. Winners will be announced around 6:30PM. This special state parks label is ready to be slapped onto one of our 32oz crowler cans filled with your choice of any beer we have on tap. We will be donating $10 per crowler purchased to Friends of Wisconsin State Parks. This crowler will cost an extra $5 which we will be matching for a full $10 donation supporting our public lands. The crowler will be available exclusively at our Beer Hall and online for scheduled pick up, starting Saturday, May 2nd. Utilize our ONLINE ORDERING MENU, choose a beer style under the crowler section, and select “Parks Crowler”. With the purchase of three State Parks Crowlers, receive a free commemorative Friends of Wisconsin State Parks Pint Glass!
