From the organizer
Boasting himself as “The Greatest Rapper Alive” Akeem Ali’s reputation often precedes him with his artistry and heavy metaphor based lines. Coming in with the third installment of his “Texture Tape” series Akeem blends the comparison of clothing textures with the sounds of sultry production and witty lyricism creating the perfect synesthesia. His style has evolved from a backpack rapper and singer, to a 70s exploitation maestro, and to what now is a perfect mixture of both. His continuous growth and style rebranding sets him apart from many and puts him in the rankings to be a household name and generational talent.
